Mrs. Ruby Timberlake, 96, of Madisonville, formerly of Louisville, KY, died Saturday, October 18, 2003, at 3:10 A.M. at the Versnick Health Care in Madisonville.
Born April 16, 1907, in Whitley County, KY, she was the daughter of the late William A. Lanham and Margaret Hickey Lanham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Timberlake, on April 23, 1990.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Louisville, she was also a member of the Isabell Gardner Sunday School Class at the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville.
She is survived by two daughters, Java Edmonds of Cincinnati, OH, and Mrs. Don (Billie) Davis of Madisonville; two sisters, Lula Gayle and Elmo Bailey, both of Vevay, IN; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00P.M. EST Monday at Louisville Memorial Gardens West with Rev. Gary Gibson and Rev. Gene Pillow officiating.
