GROOM - Cora Alice Peabody Hall, 96, died Friday, March 8, 1991, in Eden. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Groom Church of Christ with M.B. Boldin, church elder, officiating. Burial will be in Groom Cemetery by Patterson-Greer Funeral Home of Hollis, Okla.
Mrs. Hall was born in Cooke County and was the last living daughter of Donley County pioneer John Melcenis Peabody. She married Charles H. Hall Sr. in 1912 at Clarendon; he preceded her in death. She was one of the founding members of Groom Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alma Sheid and three sons, Charles H. Hall Jr., James O. Hall and Lynn Hall.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Gene Hall of Santa Ana, Calif., and Dr. Richard M. Hall of Eden; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
