Beulah V. Reynolds

Beulah V. Reynolds, 85, of Parkersburg, passed away July 21, 2002, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 14, 1916, in Roane County, a daughter of the late Ruben R. and Nellie A. Sparr Pickens.

She was a teacher for 35 years working mostly for the Wood County Schools, and was a member of the West Virginia Teachers Association. She was also a member of the North Parkersburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Violet Reynolds of Clarksburg; five sisters, Beryl Conant of Liverpool, Madylone Anderson of Davisville, and Irene Jenkins, Frances Boone and Leona Moore, all of Parkersburg; and one brother, Eugene Pickens of West End, N.C.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lee Reynolds; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Johnson; and two brothers, Andrew and Arthur Pickens.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Kent Boon and the Rev. Bill Angel officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitations will be today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
