Suggested edit: Michael Eugene Roller, 14, son of the Rev. Robert S. and Goldie Shull Roller, died at the Guernsy County Memorial Hospital in New Philadelphia, Ohio early Friday.

Young Roller was born Feb. 28, 1964 in Rocky Mount and attended the Starlite School for Retarded Children in New Philadelphia.

His father is pastor of the First Church of the Brethren in New Philadelphia. His mother is a Harrisonburg native.

Also surviving are two sisters, Ellen Roller of Franklin Grove, Ill. and Karen Roller of Boonesboro, Md.; a brother, Edward Roller of Franklin Grove, Ill.; grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Mark S. Roller of Toms Brook and Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Shull of Harrisonburg, and a great-grandmother, Mrs. J. S. Roller of Harrisonburg.

A memorial service will be held at the First Church of the Brethren in New Philadelphia 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The body will be brought to the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home for a graveside service 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Fairview Church of the Brethren Cemetery in New Market. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Donald H. Fogelsanger.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the First Church of the Brethren in New Philadelphia.
