Bernyce Morton, age 92, of Russellville, died Friday, December 14, 2018, at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehab. She was born on December 2, 1926, in Hector to John Allison and Hattie Mae Boland Jones.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she was also a member of the Lutheran Women Missionary League Quilters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hays Morton; a son, Steed Morton; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Brooks and Judy Morton of Pottsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Gary Barnett of Pottsville; five grandchildren, Shelby, Todd, and Rusty Barnett, Justin Morton, and Holly Fowler; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
