BAYLOR FUNERAL WILL BE CONDUCTED FRIDAY
Funeral services for M.E. Baylor, Elwood Civil War veteran, who died at the home of his grandson at Farmington, Ark., will be conducted tomorrow aftrnoon at 2 o'clock.
The services will be held at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. W.S. Reynolds, residing at 1420 South J street, with Rev. E.L. Gates, pastor of the First M.E. church in charge.
The Women's Relief Corps, Sons of Veterans, Grand Army of the Republic and the American Legion will attend the services as bodies.
Members of the American Legion have been requested by Post Commander Fred Hileman to meet at the Copher and Fesler funeral home tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock. The Legion will provide a color guard and pallbearers. Taps will also be sounded by the Legion.
A ritualistic service for the G.A.R. will be given by City Jodge V. Manford Maines, Rev. W.T. Sanders and Mark Winings.
Burial will be made in the city cemetery. (Elwood Call Leader, April 2, 1931.)

Mr. Baylor was a veteran of the Civil War. He enlisted as a Private in Company D, 130th Ohio Volunteer Infantry on May 2, 1864, He was discharged on September 22, 1864.
