OBITUARY: FEB 20, 1939, page 2, TRIBUNE, Vigo County, Indiana: George Albert Waggoner, 66 years old, died at 8:00 o'clock Sunday night at the residence 2547 Fourth Avenue. He is survived by the widow, Clara; a son; two daughters; eight grandchildren; one brother, Fred Waggoner of Covington, Indiana; three sisters, Anna Whitmore of Los Angeles, Cal., Eliza Brock of Foosland, Ill., and Mary Garlock of Terre Haute; several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Christian Church. The body was taken to the H.P. Martin funeral home from where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
