Rites Held for Crash Victim

Funeral services were held Monday in the Tenth and Broad Church of Christ for Mrs. Ethel Meer, 62, who died Sunday from injuries sustained in a three-vehicle accident Friday.
Officiating was William Walker. Burial was in Crestview Memorial Park under direction of Hampton-Vaughan Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jack Frost, Art Laird, Frank Durpin, Tom Dipprey, Calvin Dipprey and Alvie Meers.
Born April 13, 1901 in Stamford, Tex. Mrs. Meers had lived here two years and resided at 303 Rockwood.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Frank Yates, Jr., Dallas. Mrs. Nelson Garrison, Wichita Falls; Mrs. Alex Davidson, Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. W.T. Cooper, Odessa; a son, Eugene Meers, Odessa; a sister , Mrs. Larry Goette, Los Angeles; four brothers, C.A. Dipprey, Wichita Falls, Warden Dipprey, Lockney, Tex., and Dr. T.E. Dipprey and W.M. Dipprey, both of Dallas; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
