HAAS
Jacob J. Haas, age 79 years, died early this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. B. Haas, 2211 Sixteenth street.
He was born March 12, 1849, at Erie, Pa., and came to Racine County when six months of age. Since then he has resided on a farm in Caledonia.
Mr. Haas is survived by two sons, Nick Haas of Racine and Henry Haas of Caledonia; two daughters, Mrs. B. Haas of Racine and Mrs. John Spang of Franksville; two brothers, Joe of Kansas City and Peter of Kellar, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wynhoff of Kellar, Wash., and Mrs. Rose Chapman of Racine; 34 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
The body will be removed from Bayermann funeral home Sunday morning to the home of his daughter, 2211 Sixteenth street, where it may be viewed. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the home and at 9:30 in St. Rita's church, Ives. Burial will be in the Holy Family cemetery in Caledonia.
