Henry Stothoff was the son of Johannes Gerrit Stothoff and Elsey Onderdonk. Johannes (Henry's Father) was a Lieutenant in the New Jersey Militia during the Revolutionary War. Henry was married to Sarah Voorhees on 19 Jan 1809 in New Brunswick, NJ. Sarah was the daughter of Peter G. Voorhees and Mary Boice. Peter was a Revolutionary War Patriot. Peter and Mary are buried in the same cemetery as Henry. No sign that Sarah is buried there. Henry and Sarah had a daughter Catherine Elsey Stothoff who was married to Jonathan H. Chamberlin. They are buried in the Pennington Presbyterian Churchyard in Pennington, NJ. Jonathan's father, Lewis Chamberlin was a Revolutionary War Patriot and he was married to Anna Fisher who's father William Wilhelm Fisher was also a Revolutionary War Patriot. William was married to Charity Youngblood.
