I believe Major to be the son of Lydia Marr Craig, who indeed had a son named Major Craig, as well as a grandfather named Major Bradley.
Lydia Marr Craig's folks were John Marr (#42630650) and Sarah "Sally" Bradley (#42630682) of Lincoln Co., TN and Wake Co., NC.
This relationship has yet to be proven (though some internet fodder agrees with my supposition), but the two Major Craig's birth dates pretty much match, soooo...
Those other notes indicate George F. married a Mollie Smith in Hopkins Co., TX and indeed a Mollie Smith Craig, widow, died in Big Spring, Howard Co., TX but was buried in Odessa.
G.F. is the brother of Jessie Elmer Craig (#50180169), whose father is listed as George Major Craig (instead of Major B.) and Ella McCasland.
The mistake may have been occasioned by George's son, Major George Craig (#44141138), who died at just over three years old and is buried in Hylton, Nolan Co., TN.
Besides Major, Morris, an unnamed boy, and Alfred "Alf" Harold are among his kids.
(Though it's more likely that Alfred may be his nephew...and Jesse Elmer's kid. It appears he died in 1986...)
