Ethel Meech
Ethel Marie Meech 84, Parkville, Missouri, formerly of Route 3, died Sunday at North Kansas City Memorial Hospital, North Kansas City, Missouri. She was born April 10, 1901, at Fort Scott, the daughter of John L. and Lucy Thwaite Smith Hall. She had lived in the Bethel Community before moving to Kansas City, Missouri in 1957.
Survivors include two daughters, Maxine Downey and Virginia Edwards, both of Parkville; a sister, Pearl Collins, of Medicalodge; 10 grandchildern; 23 great-grandchildern; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Tom Burch at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Konantz Funeral Home. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Konantz Funeral Home.
