Mildred E. Luttrell
Mildred Evelyn Tidler "Millie" Luttrell, 93, of Winchester, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, in a local care facility.
Mrs. Luttrell was born in 1914 in Kernstown, the daughter of Wilbur and Margaret Triplett. She retired in 1997 after 50 years with the Farmers Livestock Exchange and Fort Collier Farms. She was a member of Kernstown United Methodist Church.
She married Richard Lee Luttrell on Dec. 7, 1947, in Kernstown. Mr. Luttrell died June 14, 1979.
Surviving are a son, Roger Luttrell of Inwood, W.Va.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Margaret Tidler Miller and Elizabeth T. Walborn; and two brothers, John Wilbur Tidler and Rueben Tidler, are deceased.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, Winchester, with the Rev. W. Clay Knick and the Rev. Elizabeth Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
