Mr. Lemon Ernest Morrison, 78, son of the late Mrs. Dillie Walker Morrison, was born 19 Sept 1892 in Green Co and died at 1 am Wed. 20 Jan 1971 at his home at 917 Burton Way in Louisville. He had made a profession of faith in Christ early in life. He united in marriage to Miss Matra Lee Burress in 1917 and she preceded him in death 10 Sept 1935. To this union were born 3 sons and 4 daughters, Surviving are: Cleo Morrison, Glasgow; Ernest Morrison, Ohio and J.B. Morrison, Chicago; 3 daughters: Mrs. Mary Alice Paxton and Mrs. Katrina Russell both of Louisville and Mrs. Lois Wheeler, Ill. A daughter, Bernice Morrison preceded her father in death. He united in marriage to Mrs. Beatrice Hartfield 18 Sept 1965, who survives. Mr. Morrison is also survived by 1 step-son William Robert Hartfield, Ohio; and 1 step-daughter; Mrs. Betty Jo Ray, Arizona; 1 half-sister; Mrs. Otis Garrison, Mt. Sherman; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and 6 step grandchildren. Funeral services were!
conducted at 10:00 am Fri. 22 Jan 1971 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Coffey Cem. at Fry. Revs. Joseph M. Humble and Luther Langsdon officiated. Pallbearers were: Earl DeSpain, Harold Chaudoin, Wayne and Charlie Hall, Robert Louis Morrison, Ray Hall.
