Edd Clayton Garrison, 79, of the Fry section, died Tuesday at the Clinic Hospital, Glasgow. He was a son of the late James and Belle Kemp. Garrison and was born in Green County May 30, 1882. He was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Oscar Rose, Greensburg; two sons, Otis Garrison, Magnolia, and Coy Garrison, Greensburg; a brother, Porter Garrison, Mason City, IL.; 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Fry Baptist Church with Rev. Owen Logsdon and Rev. A. J. Parrish officiating. Burial was in the Coffey Cemetery. Pallbearers were Amon Hancock, Porter Kelly, Leslie Buchanan, Shirley Kelly, Truman McMahan and Shively Landis.
