Graveside services for a former Eagleville boy, Robert Rose are pending this week.

SP4 Robert Rose, son of Mrs. Margie Miller of Ashland, Oregon. (Mrs. Miller is the former Margie Cook of Eagleville.)

Military services will be held in Ashland pending the arrival of the remains from Vietnam.

Mr. Rose entered service in the United States Army on September 25, 1968 and was killed in action in Vietnam on May 27, 1969.

Mr. Rose received the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Gallantry Cross with Palm and the Bronze Service Star.
