Harry H. Lilly, 74, of Shepherd, died at his home Monday, Oct. 28, 1996.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Berry Funeral
Home in Shepherd with Charles Johnson officiating. Cremation will take place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, with burial in Greendale Township Cemetery.
Mr. Lilly was a good friend and neighbor to all. He lived in the area ever since moving from Virginia as an infant. He was born the son of John and Mary Jane (Coffee) Lilly. He married Helen Harvey Oct. 7, 1950 in Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Mr. Lilly is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, Karol (Jerry) Veit of Shepherd and Martha Lilly of Shepherd; five sons, Robert (Diane) Lilly of Mt. Pleasant, Larry Lilly of Shepherd, Bill Lilly of Shepherd, Terry Lilly of Shepherd and Harry (Sara) Lilly Jr. of Coleman; seven grandchildren, one great. granddaughter, and three sisters, Rosie McDonald of Alma, Evelyn Detzler of Alma, and Dora Woodberry of Sanford.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
