Wilbur Havard Dies Sunday
Wilbur "Bill" Murdock Havard, 80-year-old Wilkinson County native and a resident of McManus, La., died at Earl K. Long Hospital in that city on sunday, September 25.
Funeral services were held at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Gloster on Wednesday of this week.. and burial followed at the Enloe Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Levetta M. Havard; three daughters, Barbara Bingham and Cynthia Stockstill, both of Slidell, La., and Joyce Adams of McNeil; by two sons, Wilber Havard of Picayune and William Havard of Bogalousa, La.; a sister, Mrs. Wm. D. Sumrall of Woodville; and by 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. and Cora Wisner Havard; three brothers, Robert, Daniel and Wisner Havard; and his wife of 41 years, Mrs. Doris Felter Havard.
