Funeral services for George Mathew Picken, 58, who died at 7:15 a. m. Friday of a heart attack at his home, 2134 Oxford street, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the Burpee-Wood funeral home, 420 North Main street. Dr. W. H. Fulton, pastor of First Presbyterian church, will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, where Masonic rites will be conducted.
Mr. Picken was born July 13, 1882, in Argyle, Ill., and had lived in Rockford for 34 years. Surviving are his widow, Jessie, and a son, Louis.
