MRS. E. S. GREEN, 82, DIES; FUNERAL HELD THIS AFTERNOON

Mrs. Josephine Green, 82, 501 Barrow street, died at 5:35 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Woodland Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two days.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Mahan Funeral Home by the Rev. Herman A. Lehwald, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Green, a member of Trinity Methodist Church and a life-long member of the WSCS of the church, was born on a farm west of Huntsville. She was the daughter of Nicholas and Emma Thomas Gunn.

Mrs. Green and her husband, Evan S. Green, who survives, celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary Oct. 10.

Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Noel Hert, Moberly, one son, William T. Green, Grand Island, Neb.; two granddaughters, Mrs. Donald Coomes, Moberly, and Mrs. Robert Bishop, Elmira, N.Y.; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Harris, Huntsville, and Mrs. Imogene Sims, Fairfax; and two brothers, Hurley Gunn, Moberly, and Bele Gunn, Hope, Ark.

Mrs. Ellen Wilhite, Salisbury and Mrs. Meda Wilhite, Excelsior Springs, are aunts.
