Henry/Heinrich Keller, second son of Daniel & Maria (Kress) Keller, grew up on the Keller Farm, one mile east of Fulda, IN. His parents gave him the name of Heinrich, no middle name, but when he reached adulthood, he adopted the initial "W". Henry received his teaching diploma from Central Normal College in 1888. Henry taught school in the Bauer or "Red" School House for several years. He continued to further his education and graduated with a Business diploma from Gem City Business College, 07 Aug 1891. He married Anna Gayer from Perry County, 26 Sep 1895. Two children were born to this union, Hilda Marie and Herman Frederick Keller. Henry was a staunch Republican. He became President of the Troy Bank. He served on the Troy School Board. Of Henry, his son wrote, "Henry Keller was an intelligent, religious, honest, industrious, thrifty, kindly family and church man". RIP
