Mrs. Myrtle Everett, 77 years old, a lifelong resident of Seneca, died Friday in a Tulsa hospital.
Born August 30, 1885, in Seneca, Mrs. Everett has lived all of her life in Seneca, where she was a member of First Baptist Church and Royal Neighbors Lodge. She had resided with a son, Ray Everett, of Skiatook, Okla., since last Easter. She was a employee of the Frisco Railway Company in Seneca for 35 years. Calvin Eugene Everett, her husband, died January 2, 1961.
In addition to her son, with whom she was living, Mrs. Everett is survived by a son, Gene Everett, Borger, Tex,; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Williams, Enid, Okla., Mrs. Nell Gibson, Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Bessie Strunk, Sun City, Ariz., and Mrs. Sylvia Anderson, Brentwood, Calif., and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in Seneca Mission Church. burial will be in Seneca Cemetery under direction of Peters funeral home of Skiatook.
