PAULINE V. SHATZER

Miss Pauline V. Shatzer, 68, 442 E. Catherine St., a 35- year employee of the former F.W. Woolworth Co. Store, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 1979, in The Chambersburg Hospital. She had been ill for a year and seriously ill for four weeks. Miss Shatzer was born Dec. 12, 1910, in Chambersburg, daughter of the late J. Grant and Araminta Byers Shatzer. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, the-Semper Fidelis Sunday School Class, The Chambersburg Hospital Auxiliary, and AARP Chapter 2287. She retired six years ago.

Surviving are three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Robert (Madelyn) Raifsnider, 736 Highland Ave.; Mrs. Lloyd (Alma) Knauff, 44 E. Catherine St.; Mrs. Marlin (Peggy) McNew, 34 Forest Ave., Fayetteville; Herbert M. Shatzer, 2536 Northcrest Rd., Hagerstown, Md.; J. Grant Shatzer Jr., 445 B St., Carlisle, and a number of nieces and nephews.

There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be made to The Chambersburg Hospital Building Fund.
