He worked 44 years as a foreman for Armco Steel before his retirement in 1974. He was a member of the National Sportsman Club.
He leaves a son, Larry R. Bronson; a daughter, Nancy L. Macomber; and a brother, Frank Bronson, all of Independence; four sisters, Mary Ellen Powers and Viola Crawford, both of Independence, Luthera West, Jefferson City, Ella J. Heffner, New Oxford, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Carson Independence Chapel; burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Friends may cal from 7 to 8:30 today at the chapel.
