Will dated January 11, 1760 Probated February 19, 1760 Phila. Co.,

I give and Bequeath unto my Dear Wife Mary in liew of her thirds both of my real and personal Estate as follows, vizt, Our marriage Bed & Every Article thereunto belonging & one of best Cows forever, likewise free lodging: That is to say the old stove rooms & one half of ye whole Kitchen also firewood Sufficient for her Necessity & ready cut and carryed before hr Door & annually the Interest of one hundred pounds, and one third part of ye Garden besides Sufficient Dung into the sd her part of ye Garden besides full Liberty into the Orchard to dry & eat as many Apples thereof as Necessary for her own use during the Time she is my Widow . . . further . . . my Widow shall towards her maintenance have annually every year Ten Bushels of Rye & four Bushels of Wheat and ye meal of ye sd Corn shall be delivered for her into ye House likewise Seventy five Pounds of Beef & seventy five pounds of Pork all & Every the same shall be delivered unto her by my two sons . . . concerning ye Cow afsd the same shall be fed and maintained by him which holdeth ye Land whereon I now live like his own Cows also likewise in ye Sumer Season wth pastur; moreover she is to have annually one Barrel of ye latest made & best Cyder wch is to be put ready for her in ye Cellar besides Liberty to Drink of ye Water Cyder as she pleaseth . . . I will for her to take as much of ye Pewter ware as for her own use is necessary, and ye large Kettle shall remain in ye House for ye use of ye mother & their Children wch Dwell in ye House . . . Item I will that my Daughter Barbara shall recive Seven pounds at ye Time she is to be given in marriage & Thirty three pounds more three years after my Decease and ye sum everyone of my Children is to receive when ye attain ye age of Twenty one years, But for ye Remainder they shall wait unntil my youngest son attains ye age of Twelve years.
