Rites Held Monday For Frank Bundy

Frank Claude Bundy was born January 21, 1887, at Osborne, Kansas. He passed away at Glasco, Kansas, on December 15, 1961, at the age of 74.
In 1903 Mr. Bundy came to Glasco to live with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Bundy. He attended Glasco High School and was a member of the high school basketball team of 1905-1906 and later of the Glasco Town Team.
In 1906 he became a barber and continued with this trade for three years.

He was married to Florence Gray on July 29, 1908, and shortly thereafter they moved to the farm southwest of Glasco, where they lived until 1960. From 1937 to 1956 he was actively engaged as a painter in the Glasco community.
Mr. Bundy always maintained an interest in local and national sports, and government. During his years as a farmer, he actively participated in the various community activities.

He is survived by his wife, Florence, of the home; two sons, Curtis Bundy of Wichita, Kansas, and Roy Bundy of Aurora, Colorado; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Leach of Arkansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Mary Ellen Barnes of La Junta, Colorado; three brothers, Fred Bundy of Grapevine, Texas, H.C. Bundy of Maplewood, Missouri, and D.R. Bundy of Topeka, Kansas, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Bundy.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 18, 1961, at 2:00 o'clock p.m. from the Dean Funeral Home with the Rev. John Baker officiating. Music was by Mr. Robert Pitner, with Mrs. Nadine Teasley at the organ. Pallbearers were Fred Beck, Jim Beck, Lloyd Garlow, Jesse Martin, Ray Olson, and Orval Halderson. Flower ladies were Mrs. Lloyd Garlow and Mrs. Ray Olson. Interment was in Glasco Cemetery.
