He married Mary Beck 10 Nov, 1763 in Chesterfield Twp., Burlington Co., New Jersey. They were Quakers. Asher and Mary are believed to be buried at the Williams Homestead Cemetery. They are not buried in the Williams Cemetery, Adamsville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, USA. Findagrave .com will not let me use the correct cemetery. There are several graves in poor condition with broken/buried/missing headstones. Asher and Mary's children are: John Williams(b.abt 1767-4 Feb 1833), Asher Williams Jr., (11 Sep 1770-May 1849), Nancy Ann Williams(1772-1818), Abigail Williams (abt 1776-abt 1810), William Williams (15 Oct 1779-22 Apr 1855), Sarah Williams (abt 1781-1810), Hannah Williams (abt 1783-1790?), and James Williams (abt 1790-after 1824).
