Eldon W. "Cris" Crislip, 69, of Naples, Fla., died suddenly Jan. 17, 1999.

He was formerly of Akron and North Canton. Cris graduated from the University of Akron and was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He retired from General Tire, after spending many years in South Africa, Morocco, and Mexico for General. He was an active member of the Naples Senior Squadron Civil Air Patrol.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol Crislip of Naples, Fla.; daughters, Colleen Crislip of Greenwood, S.C., Kathleen Reynolds of Malvern, Ohio, Michelle Crider of Georgetown, Texas; four grandchildren, and three sisters.
