Mr. Adams was born January 26 1942, in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Orus O. and Estella (Wyland) Adams. He graduated from Onawa High School in Onawa and took extended college classes. In 1963, he married Judy Hall. During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Yost Tire Shop and Sorenson Tire Shop in Onawa until retiring due to ill health.
Survivors include; a daughter, Summer E. Adams of Wayne, Ne; five sisters, Mrs. Bob (Dorothy) Ross of Onawa, Jessie Nelson of Midway, Ca., Mrs. Steve (Gloria Dee) Isakson of San Diego, Ca., Mrs. Mervin (Bobby) Tyrell of Pleasantville, Iowa and Mrs. Albert (Jean) Conyers of Omaha, Ne., and four brothers, Jim and his wife, Lois Adams of Omaha, Ne., LeRoy and his wife, Nadine Adams of Malvern, Iowa, Jackie and his wife, Jane Adams of Omaha, Ne. and William and his wife, Betty of Visalia, Ca.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Arvilla Smith; and a brother, Orus "Jack" Adams.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 8, 1995, at the Pearson Funeral Chapel, Onawa, Iowa, with Rev. Donald R. Ludwick officiating.
