Phillip P. Carter, 52 years old, died yesterday morning at his home in Bloomingdale, following three years' illness. The funeral will take place this morning a 11 o'clock from the home, and the services will be conducted by the Rev. John S. Wilder, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Temple.
Interment will be in Elkens Cemetery. Henderson Brothers are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
Mr. carter is survived by his widow, Mrs. Victoria Carter; one son, P. P. Carter, Jr.; one daughter, Miss Marie Carter of Bloomingdale, and three brothers, Dan Carter of Wildwood, Fla. John Carter of Meldrim and W H. Carter of Bloomingdale; four sisters, Mrs. Georgia Crosby, and Mrs Lizzie Miller of Savannah, and Mrs. Katherine Heath and Mrs. Carrie Waller of Bloomingdale.
