(1) 7 Apr 2019- Received the following info from Find A Grave Contributor, Karen Ferency Baker, Member #47351306.

"Republican. Postmaster at Coldwater, Mich., 1890-94; alternate delegate to Republican National Convention from Michigan, 1896, 1900....There was a town called Dorrance in 1897, just E of Coldwater. Gone now. Just a road and a church."

(2) 7 Apr 2019-Per my research, there is a Dorrance Township in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, named for Albert's Granduncle, Lt. Col. George Dorrance. See Wikipedia article for Dorrance Township.
