CROSS PLAINS - C.G. "Tuff" Hutchins, 76, parts manager at Bishop Auto for many years, died Saturday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in Atwell Cemetery.
Mr. Hutchins was born in Trent and married Ferne Bentley in 1944 in Atwell. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Cross Plains; four sons, Jay Hutchins of Brady, Alvie Hutchins of Abilene, C.B. Hutchins of Sachse and Ronnie Hutchins of Potosi; two daughters, Bertha Lee Calderon of San Antonio and Larue Williams of Abilene; one brother, B.F. Hutchins of Atwell; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
