Inscription

In Memory of Mrs.
Prudence ye Wife of
Dec. Samuel Baker,
fhe Died July 26th
1793, in ye 83d year
of her Age. ~~~~~~

Your moments fly apace,
Nor will your moments
stay, Full like a Flood
your hasty days are
sweeping you away.

[re: The Psalms and Hymns of Isaac Watts; 3rd stanza of Psalm 90; "The frailty and shortness of life" altered above from the 3rd to 1st person]

Absent a recorded date of birth, based on her gravestone on the day Prudence died she was 82 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of her Age) 83, inferring she was born AFTER July 26, 1710.
