On Jan. 5, 1717/18 Prudence's parents were admitted members of the Barnstable (West) Cong. Church, followed on Apr. 6, 1718 by the six youngest of the Jenkins children baptized on the same date in the following recorded order: Joseph, Benjamin, Lydia, Reliance, Prudence and Hannah.
