Listed on the manifest was David (age 28), Wilhelmine, (age 30), Marie (age 2) and Daniel (9 months old).

Daughter Johanna "Ann", born in Nebraska in December of 1878 married Fritz Austerlitz in 1894 at the age of 16. Johanna and Fritz were the parents of Frederick Austerlitz, better known as Fred Astaire.
