My Grandfather Mitch Pinyan was her first born in a log cabin on top of a mountain in Cherokee County. She told him a story that happened when he was a small baby. It seems his father Sam was hunting for game and while he was away a large black bear came and shook the front door, she was so afraid, she grabbed the baby and hid under the bed until it was gone.
