William was the son of Stanislaus Toon & Mary Lois Toon. He married Mary Joseph Hayden on 7 October 1931. - from Lillie Riney

Toon dies in May field MAYFIELD, Ky. - William Henry Toon Sr. of Sedalia, Rt. 1, died at 7 p.m. Saturday at Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was 70. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Jo Toon; 12 sons, William Vincent Toon, Romeville, Ill., Robert Chris Toon, Marion, Ill ., Paul Russell Toon, Hickory Rt. 1, Will A. Toon, Hickory Rt. 2, Birch Toon, Boaz Rt. 1, Wade and Simpson Toon, Paducah, Glenn Toon, Mayfield Rt. 3, Dewey Toon, Hickman, and Gary, Ronnie and Donnie Toon, at home; and three daughters, Mrs. Betty Jo Matheny, Mayfield, Mrs. Lois Ann Griggs, Taylor, Mich., and Mrs. Mary Willie Hester, Puerto Rico. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at Roberts Funeral Home.
