Mrs. Carlisle Lake Oxford, 44, of Piedmont, Missouri, passed away at a local hospital Monday morning. Survived by husband, A. Carlisle Oxford; two sons, Lake and Charles Oxford; one daughter, Mary Mignon Oxford, all of Piedmont; one sister, Miss Iva Lake of Dallas; one brother, Grant Lake, of Denton, Texas. Services 2 p. m. Wednesday from the First Methodist Church, corner McKinney and Pearl Streets, the Rev. John J. Brodhead officiating. Interment Grove Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Oxford died Monday in a hospital here following an operation. She was formerly Miss Hazel Lake of Dallas, having lived here form 1904 until she was married in 1919. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lake, once lived at 729 N. Bishop. She was born in Sterling Colorado, April 10 1894.
