Mrs. Brashear died Saturday, Dec. 23, 1989 in Polk County Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 2, 1908 in Eden, Texas, the daughter of Albert Essary and Mary E. Marsh Essary.
On Sept. 29, 1928 in San Angelo she married Herman Brashear. Mrs. Brashear was a member of the OES Chapter in Groveton and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bold Springs.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Brashear of Livingston; two sisters, Jewel Gallier of Beaumont and Jean Baucom of Heavner Okla.; brother, Fred Essary of Heavner, Okla. And numerous nieces and nephews.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
