Son of Severina and George Aamodt, he grew up and attended school in Bagley, MN. A member of the Civilian Consevation Corps. Married to Julia Champa august 17, 1934 in Duluth. Survived by his wife, two sons Donald and Ludvig, six grandchildren, Jennifer, Britt, Philip, Cheryl, Stephen and Eric, and several great grandchildren. he was preceded in death by his three sisters and four brothers.
