Annise Guyetta Swank, 71, of Manassas, passed away June 2nd, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 31st, 1940 in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of Leonard and Edith Ollis Kiser. On June 8th, 1960 in Rockville, MD, she married Mark M. Swank, Jr., who survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving besides her beloved husband of 50 years, are one daughter, Tara Price and her husband Bill of Manassas; one son, Mark E. Swank and his wife Bonnie also of Manassas; four sisters, Carol Samaniego and her husband Jim of California; Vonda Wilson and her husband Jim of Manassas; Judy McKeon and her husband Matt of Manassas Park; Gail Settle of Florida; five brothers, Conrad Kiser and his wife Nancy of Fairfax; Darrius Kiser and his wife Joyce of Manassas Park; Gene Kiser of Manassas; Leonard Kiser, Jr. and his significant other Donna Pizzola also of Manassas; Michael Kiser and his wife Yetta of Fredericksburg; two grandchildren, Noah and Kylie Swank of Manassas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday June 6th, 2011, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gary Hulme officiating.
Graveside and interment services will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA., and a reception will take place immediately following the services at the cemetery until 3:00 p.m. at the VFW VA Post 7589, 9304 Centreville Rd, Manassas.
