She graduated in 1958 from Goldsboro High School in Goldsboro, North Carolina. On April 1, 1960, she was united in marriage to David J. Jensen at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC. Polly was a member of First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in Sheboygan. Survivors include her five children, Elizabeth (Jon) Gurntow of Neenah, Kathy (Joe) Jensen-Gorr of St. Nazianz, Sandra (Jim Schneider) Jensen of Campbellsport, Michael (Kathryn) Jensen of Sheboygan, Linda (Rob) Van Egeren of Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Bradley and Andrew Guntow, Devin and Conner Bayer, Tyler and Alivia Jensen and Ty Van Egeren. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother, Zelda (Jimmy) Johnson, Brenda Worley and Rufus (Jo) Wiggins, all of North Carolina. Polly is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, a sister, Sue Stott and a brother, Albert Wiggins, all preceded her in death.
A funeral service for Polly will be held at 12:30 P.M., June 6 at First Congregational United Church with Rev. Julia Hollister officiating. Private burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the church, 310 Bluff Ave. on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 12:30 P.M.
In lieu of flowers a memborial fund has been established in Polly's name. The Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
