EDGERTON—Hulda C. Grandey, 93, formerly of RFD1, Edgerton, died early Tuesday, Dec. 6, 1988, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton.
Born July 14, 1895, she was the daughter of Christiana (Weber) and Fredrick P. Krill.
Mrs. Grandey was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident.
She was a member of the Emanuel United Methodist Church in Edgerton and the United Methodist Women of the church, and had been a gray lady volunteer for many years at Hicksville Community Memorial Hospital.
On Sept. 6, 1917, she married Harley E. Grandey, and he died on Sept. 19, 1986.
Surviving are three sons, Wayne of Edgerton, Max of Middletown and Loren of Downey, Calif., 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were seven brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Emmanuel United Methodist Church with Rosell Sattler, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. Preferred memorials are to the church.
