Raymond Cyrus Weant, 81, died Sunday at the home of his cousin, Oneida Devilbiss, in Thurmont MD. He was born in Frederick County, MD, a son of the late William Hamilton Weant and Mary Louise Fair Weant. Before retiring he was an employee of the Cambridge Rubber Co in Taneytown MD. His wife, Anna Josephine Dayhoff Weant, died in 1958. He is survived by a son, Ralph Franklin Weant, a grandson, a sister, Phoebe Josephine Weant Little of Hanover, and a brother, Scott Weant of Thurmont.
