Funeral services for Mrs. Mary M. Hall, 68, of Preemption, were held at 10 a.m. Monday May 29, in the Larson Funeral Home, Milan. The Rev. Ronald K Hasley, chaplain of Moline Lutheran Hospital, officiated and burial was in the Preemption Cemetery.
Mrs. Hall died Friday, May 26, in Moline Public Hospital.
The former Mary Lorntson was born Sept. 10, 1908 in Sloan, Ia., a daughter of Peter and Elsie Lorntson. She move to Indianapolis, Ind., in 1920 and to Preemption in 1939.
She was married to George B. Hall on July 17, 1926 in Tampa, Fla.
Surviving are the husband; three daughters, Mrs. Freda L. Harkey of Preemption, Mrs. Dora Broten of Akrou, Ohio, and Mrs. M. Elaine Anderson of Sherrard; two sons, Harold W. of Aledo and George G. of Reynolds; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
