Mrs. Cathryne Amanda Meyers, wife of William Meyers of Carrolltown, a former resident of Altoona, died at the Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, at 7:30 o'clock Saturday morning following an operation.

She was born near Duncansville on April 23, 1876, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Brubaker, both deceased. Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Alice Blum and Mrs. Mildred Jones of Carrolltown, two grandchildren and the following brothers and isisters: Mrs. Alice Willemin-Chicago, Jacob A. - Johnstown, Charles S. of Akron, OH; Irvin C., Brice I., Mrs Emma Bennett and Mrs. Bessie Scheeler, all of the city.

Mrs. Meyers was a member of the Church of the Brethren

The funeral services will be held in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Interment will be made in the Carson Valley Cemetery.
