William "Bill" Lee Skidmore, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at BSA Hospice in Amarillo.

Private services were held, and Mr. Skidmore was interred at Westlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Skidmore was a native of Hollis, Okla., and had been a Borger resident since 1947. He served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from Phillips. He was a Baptist and a member of the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Lillian Skidmore.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of the home; two daughters, Kathy Lewis and her husband, Van, of New Braunfels and Roxann Murrow and her husband, Ron, of Amarillo; two sons, Randy Skidmore of Borger and Rocky Skidmore and his wife, Shele, of Borger; two sisters, Joyce Wolf of Borger and Faye McWilliams of Blackwell, Okla.; two brothers, Fred Skidmore of Panhandle and Bob Skidmore of Clayton, N.M.; six grandchildren, Amber, Heather, Mason, Amanda, Kim and Jason; and one great-grandchild, Brittany.
