ALISON, Montgomery W. "Winkie", 80, passed away Monday July 25, 2005. Funeral services will be held Friday July 29, 2005 at Grace Epis-copal Church in Mt. Meigs at 2pm with visitation one hour prior to service also at the church. Graveside services will be at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery in Carlowville at 5pm. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elmira Alison. Survivors include daughter Anna Grace (Van) Smith of Pratt-ville, AL, 3 sons-Wink (Carol) Alison Jr. of Winnsboro, LA, Sam (Loren) Alison of South Pasadena, CA and Clyde (Audrey) Alison of Pike Road, AL, 9 grandchildren-Evie Alison (Chad) Stubbs, Will Smith, Zac Smith, Grace Smith, Annie Alison, Mary Beth Alison, Dashiell Alison, Julia Alison and Matthew Alison, 2 great grandchildren- Cal and Alison Stubbs, one brother Sam Alison and one sister Frances Alison. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Rebuilding Together Central Alabama at PO Box 4731, Montgomery, AL. Southern Memorial Directing.
