To Be Buried
Funeral services are to be held at 4 p. m., Friday, for Mrs. Catherine Whelan, 74, who died at the Spohn hospital Thursday morning from injuries sustained when struck by an automobile last week. The services will be held at St. Patrick's cathedral and burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery. Rosary was to be sung last night for Mrs. Whelan at the Maxwell P. Dunne funeral home by Monsignor J. J. Lannon. Mrs. Whelan was born in Corpus Christi, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McBride. She is survived by one son, Edward Whelan, of Corpus Christi; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Golla, of Corpus Christi; one brother, Pete McBride, of Realitos; two sisters, Miss Mary McBride and Mrs. Julia Robinson of Corpus Christi, and by 12 grandchildren.
