Services for Frances Dvorak, 79, Elberon, were April 14 at 1:30 p.m. in Hrabak's Funeral Home, Belle Plaine. The. Rev. Robert Barnett or the Belle Plaine Methodist church, officiated. Mrs. Dvorak died April 11, 1980 of a heart attack at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids. Music, for the service was provided by Mable Kaloupek, organist and soloist and she sang "Good Night and Good Morning" and "Sweet By and By". Pallbearers were Glenn Blaha, Marvin Shanda, Ronald Sokol, Richard Linhart, Sidney Sokol, Ludwig Herink. Burial was in the National cemetery, Vining.

Born December 26, 1900, in York Township, Tama county, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Hanus Sokol. She was married to William E. Dvorak on June 6, 1924 at Toledo. She was a member of Z.C.B.J. of Chelsea. Survivors are her husband, three sisters and two brothers, Agnes Blaha, Chelsea; Julia Linhart, Toledo; Ella Shanda. Belle Plaine; Charles Sokol, Chelsea and James Sokol, Elberon. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe at the age of 9, Frank, age 14, William in infancy, Joseph and five sisters, Anna Herink, Mary Riha, Emma Bartoch, Clara and Blanche in infancy ; also her parents.
