resident of Westport, widow of Cornelius J. Danaher, died at the homeof her daughter, Mrs. Harold Bunco,
Copiague, Long Island, at the age of 73.
Mrs. Danaher was the last surviving
child of Patrick and Olive Grace
Trainor, pioneer settlers in the Westport
area. In 1891 she was married
to Cornelius J. Danaher of Mineville,
N. Y., and a short time after came to
live in the house in Westport from
which she was buried. Her husband
passed away in 1913.
In addition to her daughter, she
is survived by three sons, Frank of
Orange, N. J., James of Westport,
and Pfc. William Danaher, now with
the fighting forces in Italy. A fourth
son, Edward, of Newark, N. J., passed
away last June. Surviving also are
eight grandchildren and one great
grandchild and several nieces and nephews,
Funeral services were held from
St. Philip's Roman Catholic Church,
Westport, The Rev. Edwin H. McCarthy
officiating. Burial was in the
family plot in Westport.
